The fascist policy of Ankara government is based on interfering in many conflicts and external files, in Europe, North Africa, the east of the Mediterranean , the Persian Gulf, Palestine, Syria and Iraq, and finally in the Azerbaijani-Armenian conflict. With this policy, Ankara tries to cover up its tyrannical and repressive practices and crises inside Turkey. In full view of the international community, the Turkish occupation authorities in Afrin have recently transferred / 70 / armed mercenaries, members of the ” Syrian National Army, from Rajo district and / 50 / from the town of Kutana” to Azerbaijan to fight against Armenia, as it did in Libya. In addition to Turkey’s blatant intervention in the Syrian crisis since 2011, and its ongoing support for terrorist groups affiliated to al – Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. Its occupation of large areas of northern Syria with the assistance of those militias, is the result of the aforementioned policy. The inhabitants of Afrin region are still suffering from violations and crimes of the occupying state and its militia.  Last week, we observed the following:
Olive Harvest:
As in previous years, the armed militias and most of the recruited people began stealing the olive harvest of this year, in order to fight the Kurds with their livelihood and push them to migration and displacement, and to expand and consolidate the demographic change in the region. In this regard, the militants of the militias and most of those who were resettled in Bulbul district began to steal the olive harvest on a large scale, day and night. The stealing was not restricted to the properties of the absentee Kurds, but also the property of those who are still leaving there and dare not prevent thieves or complain against them. In the village of Qizilbash and its environs, for example, controlled by the militias of   Siqour Al-Shamal Brigade, led by ” Hassan Kheiriyah ” , the olive harvest of most of the fields have been stolen by the pied piper “Ammar Kosovi” and his gangsters. The inhabitants whose harvest has been stolen are: ( Hamo Hussein Kurdiyeh, Mohammad Mustafa Kurdiyeh, Sheikho Rashid Alloush, Ahmed Hanan Othman . Near the intersection of   ” Qara Kul” village, the armed men of the same brigade plundered an olive field in front of the eyes of its owner, claiming that he had no title deeds; the militias prevent owners of the property from harvesting olives under the pretext of their immaturity or lack of ownership documents! Even the collection of small quantities requires prior approval. Therefore, some citizens are forced to sell the product of their fields to traders at low prices for fear of losing it as a whole. The local council not only does not interfere, but rather covers up these thefts.
On the other hand, the armed checkpoint of the town of Bulbul – Za`rah Road stole three sacks of olives from its Kurdish owner, and the armed checkpoint in the village of Qurta – Bulbul stole two sacks of olives from their owner.
Likewise, militias of Jeish Al-Nokhba” i.e. Elite Army ” that controls the villages of Shekhotka and Amara – Mabata seized about eight thousand olive trees belonging to a displaced Kurdish family. The same militia has seized / 25 / house in Shekhotka and / 15 / houses from Amara at the time of the invasion of the two villages , Amara.
Continuous Arrests of the People of Afrin:
On 30/09/2020 the military police, accompanied by Turkish intelligence services arrested nine elderly residents of the town Maabatli under the pretext of guarding for four days during the rule of the former self – administration. They are:  ” Luqman Habbo son of Ezzat / 50 / year, Arif son of Rashid Qrboz / 75 / year Sidqi Hambasho son of Mustafa / 50 / years old, Adnan Muhammad Ali son of Muhammad Ali / 60 / years, Muhammad Qarbouz son of Rashid / 80 / years, Walat Oskello son of Muhammad Ali Manan / 55 / years old, Muhammad Ali Yusef son of Yusef / 55 / years old Ali Yousef son of Hussein / 57 / year, Subhi Mamc Ben Ali / 57 / year ” , . This recent campaign of arrests is a continuation of the campaign of arrests that has affected dozens of the people of the town who were released after paying a fine of TL600 for each detainee.
On 22/09/2020, the Turkish security forces in Istanbul arrested eleven people from the village of Jokle Jumh – Jenderes, under the pretext of dealing with the previous Self- Administration. It’s worth saying that those people had no relationship whatsoever; given that some of them have been residents of Istanbul since 2013. The detainees are: Ibrahim Mustafa Ibrahim / 35 years/, Farid Khalil Ibrahim / 55 / years, Ibrahim Hamo Ibrahim / 60 / years, Youssef Mustafa Ibrahim / 37 / years, Walid Hamo Youssef / 22 / years, Seydou Mustafa Yousef / 23 / year, Hassan Rashid Musa / 22 / year, Mohammed Rashid Musa / 23 / year, Abidin Rasheed Musa / 30 / year, Abidin Rasheed Musa / 30 / year, Nuri Khalil Ibrahim / 60 / year. They have not been prosecuted yet.
The Turkish intelligence arrested the citizen, ” Rashid Jaber son of Sheikho 41 years, ” from the town of Midanki – Sharra , for unkown reasons, and took him to an unknown destination. Please take note that he was working as a car driver for the Buhar Relief Society.
On 30/09/2020 the citizen ” Jiwan Walid Seydou  / 33 / year – old  married with two children, was arrested in the village Turndi – Afrin. Also, ” Hassan Sheikho Sheikho, Agid Sheikho Sheikho, Jalal Mohamed Hassan, Ahmed Hanan Diko ” from the village of Qasim – Rajo, were all arrested. ” Agid and Jalal ” were later released having paid a fine of TL1500 for ” Rajo Court”.
Martyrdom of an Elderly
On September 30, 2020, citizen “Amina Hussein Maamou, ” wife of citizen “ Nazmi Hanan Ismail ” – a resident of “ Qasim ”village, passed away in a Turkish hospital, as a result of wounds she received in the explosion of a landmine under her husband’s tractor while they were crossing a farmland on 01/10/2020 at 7:30 am.

Other Violations:
– The militia “of “Waqqas Brigade ” that controls Marwaniya Tahtani- – Jenders uprooted 300 olive trees that belong to the two forcibly displaced brothers ” Jibrail and Israfil Kilo ” of the village, and seized their home as well.
– In light of the chaos and insecurity, on 01/10/2020 a car exploded with a sticky device, near Nowruz roundabout in Afrin, on the Villas Street. As a result, two people were injured and material damages inflicted to nearby shops.
– Within the framework of the efforts of the Turkish occupation authorities and with the help of the Syrian Brotherhood Coalition to change the features of the Kurdish region of Afrin to spread the Ottoman culture; and in a clear and explicit encroachment on the Syrian national sovereignty, a roundabout behind the town of Maidanaki, at the crossroads of Nabi Hori, was built in the name of ” Ertugrul “, the father of Osman I – the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The Turkish flag has been raised as it appears in a video clip broadcast by the militia of “Sham Legion ” at the opening ceremony of the the roundabout.
The people of Afrin send a clear and explicit message to the Turkish occupation authorities and the Syrian – Brotherhood coalition, that they are fighting and taking all means to liberate their land from the occupier and its mercenaries and for the return of their forcibly displaced children to their homes, and that violations and crimes will not affect their determination and will.
